Stephanie Goldkopf was born on March 27, 1991, at Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, Ohio. She now resides in Fairfield, Ohio with her younger brother Michael, and mother. She is known for her love of music, particularly her violin, her francophilia, her pursuit of knowledge, her love of animals, especially kittens, her obsession with Jane Austen, and general love for the world.
Education
Stephanie started her education young at Children's World preschool, where she enjoyed reading to all of her friends, and finger painting. At the age of five she began kindergarten at the Fairfield Kindergarten Center before moving to Oxford, Ohio where she attended grades 1-6 in the Talawanda School District. Her favorite elementary teacher was Mrs. Parks, in the second grade, due to Mrs. Parks strong advocation of reading and for introducing Stephanie to the Boxcar Children. In the seventh grade, Stephanie came back to Fairfield and enrolled at Fairfield Middle School. She is now a junior at Fairfield Senior High School, and plans to study her senior year (2008-2009) abroad in France. She is also applying for college; her main interest in Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. She plans on pursuing a career in Foreign Service, but only after joining the Peace Corps and obtaining her graduate degree abroad.
Family
Stephanie is really close to her family. Though she doesn't get along all of the time with her eleven year old brother, she adores him and loves to play games with him. Her grandparents on both sides have been a huge part of her life. Though her parents are divorced, Stephanie has loving parents who are always there for her. Since her parents were younger when Stephanie was born, and most of her family has children later in life, she has many second cousins, who have always been like cousins, and best friends to her. She now has three first cousins; one on her mother's side, and two on her father's side.
Beliefs
Stephanie is a firm believer in love and the human heart. Though Stephanie enjoys the works of Freud, Nietzsche, and Hobbes, she tries not to hold such pessimistic outlooks. Stephanie enjoys learning about other cultures and ideas. Though Stephanie is not religious, she believes in respect for others and their life choices. She dislikes people who are judgmental, and tries to lead by example, but is only human and sometimes falls into bad habits. Stephanie is mostly optimistic and really loves to laugh, but can at times get down on herself. She believes in hard work, and always strives to do her best.
Work
Stephanie teaches violin, and works at Pastor Medical Group as a general secretary. She enjoys talking to patients at her office. As for her students, she loves them both and really enjoys seeing them succeed.
Successes
Stephanie was recently inducted in National Honors Society and Tri-M Music Honors Society. She has also be nominated for many leadership conferences by her teachers and guidance counselor.
